According to several Italian news agencies the case that involved Berlusconi’s former starlette, Nicole Minetti, on the base of the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano’s investigation has come to an end and happily so for the couple Minetti and Giuseppe Cipriani.
The Milan Attorney General’s Office, as a matter of fact, stated Wednesday that the reports published by *Il Fatto Quotidiano* regarding the pardon granted to Nicole Minetti “do not correspond to the truth,” and no new element has emerged that would modify the body of evidence already gathered during the proceedings leading to the granting of the pardon.
The note of the Attorney General’s Office was sent to the Minister of Justice Carlo Nordio following an investigation primarily ordered by Sergio Mattarella to verify the content of the press articles and the subsequent rumors regarding the case that cast doubt on the legitimacy of the pardon.
The Attorney General’s Office states that the investigation has ruled out a series of circumstances reported by the newspaper. In particular, “it is clarified that the lawyer who died in Uruguay under circumstances deemed “unclear” was not the attorney for the biological parents of the adopted child, but the child’s own attorney instead” who apparently supported the adoption. Furthermore, there was no “legal battle” in the proceedings, as the biological parents did not appear in court and the biological mother remained untraceable, the attorney general office note has reported.
Regarding the lawyer’s death, the Uruguayan public prosecutor reportedly ruled out any criminal activity. The report also highlights that no irregularities emerged in the adoption proceedings—which were subsequently recognized in Italy by the Juvenile Court of Venice—nor are there any reports of criminal activity, pending proceedings, or investigative involvement in Uruguay or Spain regarding Minetti and Giuseppe Cipriani jr.
The Attorney General’s Office also confirms the child’s “serious medical condition,” which is being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital requiring the mother’s presence during checkups and treatments, in addition to previous consultations at hospitals in Cleveland, New York, and Italy.
Furthermore, Minetti’s volunteer work has been verified, as has her nearly continuous presence in Italy from January 2024 through 2025, with the exception of brief returns to Uruguay. Finally, based on numerous statements gathered during the defense investigation and testimony obtained by the Carabinieri, the allegations regarding Minetti’s participation in alleged parties involving drugs and sex in recent years—statements that had been made by a massage therapist—have been refuted.
Although the very masseuse, in her last video interview to a Uruguayan TV broadcast of May 13, never ever withdrew her allegations. She stated her concerns for the chaos emerged after her Italian interview and she was waiting for the Italian magistrates to call her:
This is what Graciela Mabel De Los Santos Torres in particular replied to the Uruguayan journalist when interviewed:
– “According to the Italian newspaper you witnessed some sex parties at the estate. Is that true?”
– “There are some things I’d rather wait to address, because it seems the Italian justice system might be calling me in. Since everything has been distorted, and so many things have been said, I’m now very afraid to speak and worried about every word I say.”
However the prosecutor did not consider the option, as explained in the very note: “since the Treaty on Judicial Cooperation in Criminal Matters between Italy and Uruguay, ratified by Law No. 45 of April 22, 2022, is intended for the collection of evidence or proof in the course of criminal proceedings”.
